Not a real long story, but a great thing to look back at and laugh. Middle of December, trying to ride the forest and 3090. We were the only 2 that showed, and we called it half way into the ride. Nothing better than frost bite on your finger tips the weekend before Christmas.

Andy, We are all praying for you. I can’t help remembering all the nights you hung out with me when Carree and Brad were out doing their thing. Thanks for all the talks. You were the best help around the house I have ever had. You hurry and get better.
Miss and love you, Pat call if and when you can talk or if you need anything. 469-556-1788

Hey Andy, I know that the stories I have may or may not be appropriate to share, but I know they will make you laugh. Remember the time when mom and Ami and I were visiting Brad and Carree and you came over? You had nowhere to sleep so you jumped in bed between my mom and I and out of the blue said “Don’t worry if you feel something poking you in the back in the morning that will just be my morning wood!” Please just get well. You have been a great friend and even more than that you have been like a brother to me. You have always been there when I needed someone to talk to or needed a laugh. And dont forget our secret that we have. I wont say anything but you know what it is!!! Love you Denise

Andy- *Remember when you came to the house on your bike and would drive your bike through the field to get from your dads house to mine? and that night we had a bonfire, it was late, time to go home and you rode back home through the field. not realizing there was mud and got your bike stuck. you had to get off and push it out?? *Then when we were on the lake and you hit my dads boat with your WORK boat? *Those jeans that were torn up, a hole in every spot, that you wore everyday! Get well soon so we can make more lifetime memories! Kelly and Jenna

Helen and I were just talking about the time we went to Matagorda fishing. Helen kept messing up the real, and Riley was in denile about being sea sick. You would smile and fix it for her like it was nothing. That side of you you get from your Dad. Two great men. We want you to get better just as soon as you can. When the time is right, you can bet your a$$ we are hitting the big ones up… Your a part of our family. Always have been. Get well soon.

Hey buddy hope you are starting to feel better! Way too much glass out there that needs to be rode! Dude funny story remember at your momz rental property and Will went out on a date and brought some random girl home! Of course we get this great idea to use the trampoline as a ladder so we could videotape Will to see if he could finally seal the deal! Well we lean the trampoline up against the house and we climb up it and our two fat asses end up breaking the trampoline. We never got any video of Will but if we were smarter we would of went to the side of the house and just got the ladder! Gotta love Natty Light! Keep Fighting Buddy! My thoughts and prayers are with ya!

Here is another fishing story. One trip out on East Matagorda Bay, Andy, Riley and Me were headed in. Mind you the bay is only about four feet deep, and we were using a boat he borowed from work. We are cruising along 35mph or so, with the sun was setting, and we were beat. All three of us were circled around the boats center console, taking in the last of the suns rays, and enjoying the calmness of water. I asked Andy, are you sure you know were you going? He looked at me as if I just asked him to marry me… A good ten seconds pass and WHAM! We hit a sand bar. The boat stopped but we didn’t… Andy ate the wheel. I ate the floor, and Riley just kept eating. All that we could do is laugh… We took the boat back to my place. Broke out the grinder and started doing some old fashion Willis metal fab. Andy went up to his work after hours and snagged a few cans of paint. Threw it on and it looked as good as new. That was a fun trip, one I won’t soon forget. Keep fighting, we are all pulling for you.

    Hey Hon,
When Scott, I and the kids were in Dallas after Rita hit we all went to your house to swim. You were playing with ‘shark’ with Paiton in the pool. Ofcourse everyone told you to stick your nose out of the water b/c that would make a better fin! Whenever I think about you, it’s always that day that comes to mind. I don’t know why. Maybe it’s b/c you played with my kids like you were their age and it tickled me. We love you, honey. Please get better. Uor hopes and prayers are always with you.
    Love, Scott and Kristie

I dont really have a story Andy, but I bet you do, you know the ones, the ones you have never told your parents about, yeah, you’re smiling right now just thinking of those. So you pick the best one and have a little chuckle and your family can smile because you’re smiling, and hopefully I’ve delivered a smile by NOT telling a story…

I know that we all have great memories with Andy but the one that really sticks out to me is “Andy’s human sling shot” that was probably one of the craziest stunts we all did in high school. But only Andy was the one creative enough and crazy to attempt it. I’ll always have Andy in my heart and in my prayers we all love you buddy stay strong.

Not the first time I met him, but the first I took notice of him.

We lead alot of rides and on about the third one he attended with us through Carlos one of our riders had his bike pushed over in the morning. He broke is front brake lever.

Andy rode home, got an extra stock lever he had and met us in the forest at 149/1097. He proceded to file down the lever off his 954 using concrete to make it fit the older cbr he was offering it for. About a half hour later in the cold, it was done. The rest of the group of 40 some riders were ahead of us and two others we knew rode with us up to the gas station in Carlos to rendezvous.

Andy was also the first, riding with me and three others, to offer up himself to ride back to his place and get his truck when CoachDave went down(for the bike.) Andy walked away from one of his closest riding buddies not knowing that was the last time he would have been able to see CoachDave. He told me later it haunted him and I thanked him for volunteering such a difficult thing.

He has a heart larger then anyone I know; and genuine people are a commodity these days.

    Love you Andy!!!!

Andy we’ve been through alot… I know you wanted to steel my Maverick boy and kidnap him and took him on the boat w/ you but you and Casey had no idea my Maverick got sea sick and would pay you back…. all over the boat…. we love you and miss you on our couch at nights even though we had 3 perfectly fine beds! You were our “other Dupree” Miss you more than words can imagine Brad will be lost without you. P.S. Thanks for the fish guts you left in your truck when we came home to yesterday…love you.

Brad and I have so many memories w/ Andy. I remeber him being obsessed with wanting to suff my dog when he dies ( my poor Chunk) but yet not wanting to even touch him when he is alive– weird. And calling Mavercik “Broke ass” b/c he broke his tail and its bentin 1/2 permenantly. Having to give you benadryl whenever you came over to our house b/c you were so allergic to our cat… but yet you were always still at our house. Taking off with Maverick in the bed of your truck and me getting soooo mad when I came home and my dog was MIA. Oh and for intruducing me and Brad. Can’t forget that one! Oh and pics to follow… you and Brad in my mom’s bathtub. Everyone at the hospital this weekend heard that story. I think I really confused Poppa Zorn with that one. You me and Brad ALL sleeping in my room at my mom’s house for like 9 months when we lived together— the smallest room AND twin size bed EVER. Say hello to Curbee and Charles for me. Love you.
