Although it's been several years since I've seen Andy, I was no less shocked when his mom, Susan, emailed me the news today. (For the benefit of those who don't know me, Susan and I were married for about ten years.) Although Andy and I were never very close, I'm nonetheless saddened that his life was cut short. You don't know us, but we work with Randy. We have been through the cancer battle and know what you are going through. My husband was in your spot 7 years ago and he has been Cancer free for 6. I know that it is a very scary time, but the battle can be won. You are at the best hospital and have great care. God is great and if you keep your faith and keep fighting you can survive. Being POSITIVE is the key- Don't ever give up. Please let us know if we can do anything for you- and Randy, do what you need to do to be there for your family- we understand and support you.
